The service

Dover Guide is an independent directory of businesses, events and community resources in and around Dover, Ohio. We work hard to keep information accurate, but hours, prices and details can change — please confirm important details with the business directly. Information marked "via Google" has not been confirmed by the business.

Listings and claims

Listings are free. Business owners may claim their listing by proving their connection to the business. We may decline or remove any listing or claim that is inaccurate, misleading or outside the Dover area. A Verified badge means we confirmed the owner's identity — it is not an endorsement of quality.

Reviews, questions and answers

Reviews and community answers must be honest, first-hand and respectful. One review per person per business. We moderate submissions and may hold or remove anything offensive, defamatory, promotional or fake. You keep ownership of what you write, but you give us permission to display it on the site.

Advertising

Banner ads are sold annually, are always labeled as sponsored, and never influence search rankings, verification or reviews. Ads must be family-friendly and accurate; we may decline or remove ads that aren't. Advertising fees are invoiced and non-refundable once an ad has run.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site, submit false information, impersonate a business, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Liability
